Saturday, 5-10
Game 1 Vs. Westport Seals L 9-2 LP: Zach August. The first inning was just to much to overcome in which we allowed 4 runs.  All of credit has to go to Westport ace Mike Linwood who dominated throughout the course of the game and would just not allow us to get back into the game.  Zack August was able to keep his composure throughout the game and not let the defensive mishaps bother him while pitching the entire game.   We had some great defensive plays, including 2 by Dan Leckie (Suffield) who caught a fly ball ranging backwards and jumping up to snag it. Dan also had a hit stolen base and scored one of our 2 runs. Dan Bettigole (South Windsor) added a great play in CF, and also stole 2nd, 3rd and scored on a wild throw trying to throw him out at 3rd. Zach August threw strikes and pitched a great game also contributed with a double.

Game 2 Vs. Westport Seals W 4-0 WP: Drew Morytko. A great all around effort from our boys, lead by Drew Morytko (Granby) who threw a CG Shutout striking out 8 and allowing only 3 hits.
