2007-2008 Fall/Winter Work-Out Program

Travel baseball attracts the best and most dedicated youth baseball players each season because of the promise of competition and sportsmanship. Travel baseball is also known for dedication to proper instruction and preparation for play. Teams selected for play each spring have prepared and practiced throughout the off-season in anticipation for each coming season. Programs in warm locales have the advantage of outdoor play and practice except for the coldest winter months. Northern teams generally affiliate with indoor baseball facilities to ensure proper preparation indoors even when the weather does not permit outside practice.

The Connecticut Capitals Baseball Club is affiliated with Baseball City, an indoor sports facility in Hartford, CT. This facility offers an opportunity for complete training and instruction even when weather conditions do not permit outside play. The Capitals maintain a complete supervised workout schedule throughout the fall/winter months. This open to all players who either want to improve their game or are interested in being selected for the 2008 CT Capitals travel baseball teams. Keep in mind this is separate from the CT Capital tryouts. The intention of the winter work-out clinics is to provide advanced instruction, improve one's skill development and promote our CT Capitals program. The 2007-2008 Winter Work-Out schedule is already established (see below). Again, any interested players can attend these winter workouts to improve their game. At the conclusion of the workouts the CT Capital tryout schedule will be announced. Clinic fee is $25 per 90 minute session.
